Anything new may be appealing to others, but to me the old look is still the best. When something changes, I would not like it anymore. Perhaps I am probably a bit too vicious and judgmental, but it actually appears to apply the majority of the time.
Can you remember what lifesaver candiesĀ seemed like when you were growing up? There wasn’t any blue color. There were 2 shades of brown a light brown and a dark brown. They were quite particular from say, Skittles, or other likewise sized candies. When they added that terrible blue and removed one of the browns, it had been a blow to this chocolate lovers heart. As an interesting point, lifesaver candies are the sole ones that may do no incorrect in my eye. I’ve been keen on lifesaver candy for so long as I can remember.
I adore the butterscotch lifesaver candies with their rich, creamy flavour that’s almost overpowering. I like the classic lifesavers with their range of different tastes. I even liked the tropical range of lifesavers candies, though I know many folks who can’t stand them. To me, they were all good even the lime lifesavers. Naturally, when they came out with lifesaver gummy candies, I was a bit doubtful. Well, in truth, more than a little doubtful. I assumed they’d eventually come out with some sort of marketing trick that would fail comprehensively and ruin the candy forever.
As an important point, it was months before I’d even try the new spread or lifesaver candies. I evaded them like the plague, and stopped purchasing lifesavers altogether. When I ultimately did try them I was nicely shocked. I detest them as much as standard Lifesavers gum candy, but they have their own thing going for them. They were less sticky than gummy bears, but they furnished the same sort of delight. Sometimes it is nice to have something gummy to munch on, and I felt the new lifesaver candies do very well superbly. They can never be among my faves, but that does not imply I will not buy get a craving now and then.
